Raxiom Smoked Headlights problem

Hello I am a newbie to these mustang forums seeking advice! I have just recently purchased a set of the raxiom smoked headlights for my 2012 mustang gt. They look incredible but the visibility is horrendous . I swapped the bulb out for an 5900k hid halogen look a like bulb and still not a drastic change at all. Has anyone put an bulb that works well in the night? I do not really care the price of the bulb as long as it is functional. Hopefully some can give me their two cents on this. Thank you!

You're gonna need HIDs. Nothing else will be bright enough, I had similar smoked headlights on my 05

these are the only ones i would recommend. they only come in 35 and 55 watt but 55 watt isnt a whole lot brighter than 35. the color that most car manufactures use for stock hid's is 4300k but some use up to 5000k.

The ones I used were very similar. I believe I went with 55watts, pretty sure I went with 5K and if I remember correctly the bulb size is H13 hi/lo
