quick rim question

my 2010 has the premium 19 inch wheels and i LOVE the way they look but i hate the fact that 245s are the biggest i can have on the rear..

american muscle had OE style 19x10 wheels however they look slightly darker.. has anyone seen these in person? in the pics they look gunmetalish and my rims are definitely silver.. heres the link below, id hate to have to buy all new wheels when i love mine just wanting the rear wider. anyhelp would be helpful

These are darker than stock.

Are those 19 x 8 wheels? Seems so silly to have such a skinny wheel in a 19" diameter, don't know why Ford would do that.

I think you could probably fit a 255 fine, but the diameter would likely change if there's not the right side profile.

Easy solution is find some 19x9s, all around, but that is a bit pricey.

on the site there 19x10's which would be perfect. but they are not the same silver as my own wheels. Im considering getting my wheels painted black and ordereing there black wheels of the same type..

I'd do that in the reverse order -- get the black ones, then take the OEM ones to be painted to match, hopefully. Depends on the gloss level, but making black match black isn't the easiest thing.

You are correct, Hypercoated is not the same as your factory silver.

I would say that if you wanted to go black, I would order our 19X10s in black and then have yours painted to match. It wouldn't make a whole ton of sense you paint yours first and then hope ours matched. It would be easier to just match yours to ours.

I hope this helps!

Let me know if you have any questions in the future!

Painting after I received them is what I meant lol. Is there any way to get the paint code of the paint so I know it'll match?

I have the same painted luster 19' silver wheels... I read from different sites and also went to a shop where they're pretty good with mustangs and exotic cars and I hear u can use 255-40-zr19 I'm actually looking forward for mine to wear out so I can use those tires, it's a little better than what comes stock and I want to drop my car within the next few months

yes but 255s are exactly the staggard look im going for.. id prefer to put 305s on the back BUT I may have to settle for 285's. I just think its sad that these cars look so perfect till you look at how scrawny the tires are on the rear..
