Hey guys,

I am looking to add the hood scoop that goes over the power dome and ordered one from the spoiler store (which turned out to be very defective and right now I am trying to deal with their "customer service" dept. but that's another story).

I noticed that on their "Factory-Style" hood scoop, the top front lip of the scoop has a curve to it. That is, it curves out a bit and is not straight across like I 'think' the factory scoops are.

I don't come across many GT's with factory scoops around here so can anyone with the factory scoop chime in and tell me if the front of your scoop is straight across or curved?

They are not straight across the front. If were to look straight down from above the front edge looks like a very flat W. thats to say the left and right edges are forward of the front lip and the middle has a small point forward of the far left and right rear edges.

 

Ah, so there is a peak in the middle like you can kind of see here:?

 

This is my factory scoop. Yes there is a slight ridge down the middle. I think the picture you posted it looks more raised due to lighting. The factory ridge is very subtle.
