I just saw a video of the install. That is a lot of work. Too much for me. I would have to take it somewhere to be done. That will probably be expensive. Not sure it if would be worth it. Also with it not being glass, hmm, I don't know.
Yeah it is a lot of work. If you're not comfortable with it, then definitely have a glass shop do it for you. You could probably save a lot of money though by taking out the rear seat and all the trim panels yourself (not hard to do), and just letting the shop do the actual windows. If you let the glass shop take off the panels, they'll probably be experimenting with the best ways to remove the panels, rather than just following the easy steps of the video.

2014 GT 5 Slat Louvers

Heres my 2014 GT with Louvers from a 2010! Betcha didn't see that coming! I dared to be different!

Also, they don't perfectly fit the window. Maybe 3/4 of the way snap-on. And they're a plat black. Debating getting new ones, painted to match and actually for my model year.

Hey guys.

I'm currently debating between the Eleanor or Roush style quarter window louvers, versus MMD 5 slot louvers.
I have the 5 slot ones on now, but they are for the 2020 and don't fit fully.
I have a 2014 Grabber blue GT. Going for the blackout look.
I've blacked out my emblems, my hood vents, lights and side markers.

Looking to possibly add the rear window louver soon, all from American muscle.

So what's the general consensus?
I might get them pre painted then plastidip them black, that way I'll always have the option to go back to blue.

1) MMD 5 slot classic style?
2) Eleanor style scoops?

Here's my MMD Eleanor style scoops that I just got done installing the other day, I love the looks of them from the outside, but it looks like kaka looking out the windows, I have been looking for interior black out panels with no luck, so I'll just have to make a set and cover them with some black material.

Here's my eleanor style louvers, I know what you mean about the inside, I actually left a sticker in there cause I was so excited to get them on. Now it has peeled off just floating around in there. Can't get it out because of the mesh grilles. Mine came with side scoops, hood scoop, and louvers. I had no say in the matter. However, the window louvers ripped right off

I was thinking about the MMD side scoops. My concern is with the open end of the scoop allowing dirt in, is it hard to clean under the scoop?

I would go OEM. No offense to MMD.

I second this.

I've got the MMD classic louvres and the MMD decklid trim. But for the side scoops the only style I liked that really followed the bodylines of the car were the OEM ones.

Now I just need the **** car.

I had SHR louvers installed (2012 Kona GT Premium) locally and they REALLY messed up everything. I drove to SHR's facility last month and had them replaced and the total cost was only $550.00...new parts and labor! The owner of SHR personally installed them in les than half a day and they look tremendous. I would not have ANY other louvers.

Drake makes panels for the quarter windows. I bought the natural aluminum panels for my car but I think they also come in black.
