Dunno but it sounds like probing is involved.

I have these on my 2011 ( ford logo not the pony) and it's a easy install. Wired it to the door sill ( mustang logo ) tap into the yellow wire with a blue stripe fro power and ground the other. Oh and drill into the plastic NOT THE METAL DOOR! Amazon has the for a low as $12. I bought 2 sets, one for $12 and the other for $26 just for comparison. Heck the both came from the same company shipped from the same location HERE in the USA not china.

would be cool to throw one of these on the trunk door to light up the cargo area when you open the trunk. I put the white ponies on my mirrors and although it was alot of work, still glad I did.

When I bought the 2 sets of Led courtesy lights with the ford logo, I was going to put the 2nd set under the hood shooting up on the hood with the ford log BUT it was too dim so I scratched that idea. I seen someone did this with the SRT logo and it looked pretty cool. I just gave the 2nd set of lights to my buddy for his doors. Ohwell.

Which plastic did you install it in?
