Ordered Boss 302 lower splitter today
What's simple for everyone else turns into a mess for me.
For example, my Bullitt steering wheel install.
It took others 15 min to figure out. Me, it took a month of PM's and forum posts before the lightbulb finally went on.
I don't want to get into that with this.
I read the LMR blog about the install, and it seemed pretty easy.
...but installing my Bullitt wheel was supposed to be easy.
Seeing my car like this freaks me out.

I asked my dealer how much to install the CS fascia, Boss splitter, and a GT500 axle back. $250.

My dealer uses Galpin Auto Sports (yes, that GAS "Pimp My Ride" used for their later seasons when people got tired of that show) so they wanted $500 to install lowering springs
The parts come with clear directions. if you can use basic handtools and read you can handle this job start to finish in about 2 hours. Drilling the holes for the splitter is the most time consuming part.
I'm the proud owner of Mustang GT 2011 Yellow Blaze since few days and prior to that, I had the Mustang GT 2010 in Grabber Blue with the C/S bumper. The last thing I was missing is the splitter and it's now done to complete my front end appearance mod.
I received the splitter yesterday but the directions are not as clear as it seems to be to my mind.
The only question I have is why there are 2 differents types of diameter for the drilling?
I have an idea by looking at the hardware provided in the box but before I start drilling, I would like to make sure.
Indeed, in the directions, it says to drill the same holes for both diameter.
Need you help guys.
Thanks in advance
The smaller (first holes) are pilot holes. the larger second are the main size the bolts will fit through. When you mount the splitter measure the sides and center the front using the raised edge, then when you have it where you want use a couple of pieces of tape or lightly clamp it to hold it while you drill the pilot holes. Remove it to drill the main holes. Then install and enjoy.
Added the Roush side splitters today and it ties in the front splitter perfectly!!
