That discussion is about the Laguna Seca splitter which is different. Good info though.

Wow... I thought I just did see that Boss splitter for $798.00 at AM's website for pre-order!!!

What the heck??!!
AM is a little confused. They show a picture of the splitter discussed in this thread but they list the part number (and price) for the Laguna Seca splitter.

I called AM and told them about the mix-up. They said they would look into it.

Is is just me or is this confusing? I thought this was the standard Boss splitter. Could it be that the instructions for the Boss would be for a replacement of a damaged splitter? But then why toss the hardware too?

I guess it doesn't really matter. I was just wondering.

I think it's because the kit itself comes with new hardware, so you just replace everything instead of reusing hardware. I could be wrong though.

I walked out in the garage again today and looked at it, I love how mean it looks now. Can't wait to get the car cleaned up once the weather warms up and get some good pictures of it with all the exterior work done.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, lol. Looks like you and I have the same taste.

How easy the install was it? Does it involved drilling etc?

Read back a bit, I posted the install instructions and my take on the whole job. Took me 2 hours with a helper.

Thanks. I didn't take pics during the install, just before and after. If you've got questions, just post/PM me and I'll try to help out. I've already put some additional suggestions in posts earlier in this thread about the install itself.

I just looked at the instruction sheet you posted, and got a feel on how thats going to go.. My Ford guy just called! Parts are in! Boss Grill, and Splitter, so I will just add on stuff here to back up your install! Now if I can just find a thread that shows how to change the grill! LOL

The grille is easy! I think you might have to pull the bumper to get the lower clips out, but it shouldn't take long at all.

It's out there. Check the Roush website. They have good instructions on how to install their grill and the procedure should be very similar.

So you were able to order the Boss Grill??!! Cool ... how much was that? Does it fit the GT bumper or do you need some sort of adapter?

Yes! I will take pictures of them when I go pick them up.. It was a bit pricey, around $200 plus the emblem was $50.. I guess we will find ourt but it looks like it fits right in place...
