Like you just said, You zip tied your front PLATE to the grill down there and not the plate HOLDER as in post #10. The rubbing comment was for the plate holder rubbing not the plate itself. Glad you like yours. My OCD would prevent me from doing this. I'm a weirdo so it's cool.

I had originally planned to bend over the top and bottom edges of my front plate and secure it to the lower grill, but this miserable state not only requires a front plate it prohibits 'disfiguring' the plate. I suspect a picky enough State Trooper could get me for that even though the numbers and state name could still be read. I'll just have to try to ensure that the plate holder is very secure and does not rub. Bolting it on might be a better idea, but I'm not sure what it will take to have access to the back side of the lower grill.

You put the bracket through and then screw the bar to the front of the grill with the supplied hardware so there's no need to have to reach behind there. That's why the bracket has an extra bend at the bottom. There are also little rubber nubs that will prevent the bracket from making sudden contact with the bumper or license plate. Simple and great design. IMHO.

This one slides down & under to disssppear and it doesn't break up the lines of the bumper.

I should add I have a 2012 GT and have used it with both my stock and Boss/CS fascia.

Did you have to drill into the bottom of the lip to mount that one? I was looking at that one as well but didn't want to drill into anything and got the one from Craig's.
