Daddy has a new pair of shoes--er...tires.

There are several pictures here, none of them glamour shots, but I know there are those that will want to see this kind of info.

Wheels: Textured Matte Black Forgestar F14 20x9's and 20x11's

Tires: NITTO Extreme Performance 555, 275/35/20 on the front, NITTO Extreme Performance 555R Drag Radials, 305/35/20 out back. Ordered from AM, had to mount older TPMS units in the wheels, but had no problem getting them synchronized with my '13 Shelby. Prettier pictures when it's lighter outside and I don't have the flu.

I know it's hard to see in the picture there, but the tires sit flush with the rear hips; they look SO good. Front tires have clearance throughout, no rubbing.

I have to admit, I didn't expect to mod this car quite this much so early; I figured it would be a few years before I started, but it now has new tires/wheels, hood struts, no resonator, red/black shifter ball and clear bra over the entire front of the vehicle (though that was more of a necessity to me than an option). No engine or suspension mods (probably won't do those until the warranty is up), but I have to say, once you get the mod bug, it is HARD to get rid of it. If tomorrow is a clearer day, I'll try and clean it up some. Still running a fever and probably should have waited to put the wheels on until tomorrow, but I just couldn't wait.

Yeah, I'll be sure and put some up tomorrow if I'm feeling better. I know people will want to see what they look like in daylight with the entire car. Forgestar really hit it out of the park with these wheels.

Wow Matt! Outside in the **** with a fever mounting tires.

Wheels are from AM. Where'd you get the tires? Discount?

Freaking rained here all day or at least just enough to keep the roads wet. No way I was pulling the car out for a drive. Hope you feel better soon.

nice set up, but i hope you don't end up regretting your tire choice as i hate the sticky compound on my Conti's. They pick up every single debris that is on the road. SOOOOOO annoying. never again if you ask me.

That's what I said too, but I ordered a CAI, O/R x-pipe, Tuner and Lund tune, and Super Cobra Jet Throttle Body the day after I took delivery!

Pics will be up tonight in this post. I can't remember when we (South Texas) have had as long of a cold/wet/crappy driving weather streak as this recent one. Finly saw some sun today. Was busy and won't have a lot of light but will get them up. More tomorrow if I can find the time. Having seen the wheels/tires on, it looks **** good.

Voila.

Like I said, the light isn't perfect and the car is still a bit damp, but I was pressed for time today. Very, very pleased with how these wheels and tires from AM turned out. Details for both are in first post for those interested.

wheels look good, but now it points out the fact that your baby rides high. It really does look classy though. Grats.

Thanks.

Won't be messing with the suspension until I have a better idea what the best options are for me. It's going on the track, so that matters more (to me) than how it looks on the road. In all likelihood, it will get lowered but not until I can find a setup that helps with lap times.

Any modifications needed to fit the tires? Shock dust boot?

In your opinion would a 315/35/20 work? Basically looking at the Nitto NT-05R for the rears on mine.
