I think it looks pretty cool! I've always liked these, Gives a car stand out style. 10 years ago when I bought an 1984 Camaro that was rocking the louvers on rear window I really enjoyed the experience of having them on. Now days this is an easy way to give your Mustang that old school style and set your ride apart from the others.

Do you have anymore pictures? Closer up, From inside, etc. If you don't have time to get some pictures you can just send me one and I'll post them for you!

I like the look of rear louvers but all the plastic ones look cheap. I would go with the metal ones if I went in this direction.

I don't go in much for the side louvers, hood scoops, stripes and such, but I do really like those rear window louvers.

Metal rear window louvers would have a little bigger weight, it would be more complicated to instal and for sure more pricey.

Pretty much all manufacturer's of such aftermarket parts switched from aluminum to ABS as it's light, durable, impact resistant and less expensive.

By the way you can check out detailed installation instruction with more pictures in this manual: http://www.carid.com/images/eg-class...structions.pdf

Yeah, my previous set of rear louvers weighed all of 10 pounds and those 4 stickers are confounding.

Really? Cervinis, MMD, MRT, Willpak, DG Custom (and probably more) all make aluminum louvers for 11+ Mustangs because ABS louvers are krap that will warp, pit and rattle. Feel free to boast about your awesome louvers but please don't blatantly lie to us just to make a sale. You just end up looking stupid.

Wheelman, you are right, we shouldn't have generalized. There is a lot of companys on the market that offer genuine aluminum louvers, which also turn to be a good quality product.

Here in Cranbury we have one 5 gen Camaro with plastic rear lovers, that were installed back in 2010. After 4 years of hot summers and cold winters, they still hold on the place and look really good.

CARiD,

I'm really liking these E&G rear window louvers, as they dont look anything else like the other ABS louvers that are out there now that i'm not really interested in. Do you happen to have more angles of this brand of rear window louver so I can see the difference between these and others? I've checked your site but it's the same picture of the Mustang as the one you posted on this post.

Thanks!

Unfortunately the manufacturer did not provide us with other pictures of these louvers, however you can see other angle on the picture in the installation instructions here: http://www.carid.com/images/eg-class...structions.pdf

If you would like to get more pictures - please let us know, we'll try to request them from the manufacturer!

CARid sounds like an immigrant robot that should not be trusted. I have seen your company all over the place attempting to sell various knock-off bull****. Not impressed

Those Plastic or what ever they call them are Junk. Look bad when you first install them and even worse years later.. No Months later. Lol

Aluminum all the way or No Way. I have had them on a couple Mustangs and they are great. I am looking for a good supplier for Aluminum ones for my 2014.

Unfortunately we do not carry the Aluminum louvers for a Mustang. They're definitely good, but the ABS model is just a good alternative. ABS louvers are absolutely not as bad as the plastic louvers form early 80s or 90s. We sell new louvers for Mustangs, Challengers and Chargers for a few years already and keep receiving positive feedbacks.

We requested more pictures from the manufacturer, to show you the way they look in real life.

We are the supporting vendor, and the section 2010-2014 Mustang is sponsored by us. CARiD is in this business for almost 10 years, and we're pretty sure that some of the forum members are familiar with this store. We carry a wide range of parts and accessories made by the best names in the automotive industry, and dozens of our experienced tech specialists are ready to assist you any time.
You are welcome to our site, and we hope that real time experience will leave a positive impression of CARiD.

I have aluminum, and will carry that weight any day over the plastic. But that is a personal choice. I know a few who roll the plastic and love it.
