Hey all!

Just made my account and wanted to get some possible ideas for racing stripes on 2014 v6. Gray w/ fp6 package. I am more inclined to go with painted stripes as opposed to vinyl.

I am leaning towards a black stripe design, possibly with a very thin white line bordering the exterior to break between the stripe and body.

I have been looking for stripe ideas that aren't necessarily just straight, and might be more unique, but haven't had much luck.

Does anyone have any creative stripe ideas that aren't totally over the top? Pics are always nice!

 

I keep tossing this design around along with doing the raised area in the hood and leaving the vent body color.

 

I like that. It keeps a sharp defining edge, but you still get the color contrast.

 

I'm not sure that would work in my case with a gray car though, since everything else is already accented black. I think what makes that look nice is a lighter color breaking up a dark body.

 

My Friend has a race red 14 GT. His stripes are getting put on this Friday. He's choosing to go with racing stripes over the top of the entire car. But he's getting four 1" wide stripes.

Picture 2 side by side racing stripes, with 3/4 of the centre cut out and you'll get the idea. Basically just the outlines of the stripes themselves

 

I'm having a hard time on thinking how thats going to look.
