The hood is Fiberglass. Hood pins are not required. No pictures painted one color at this time. We have reached out to a couple consumers that have placed an order, but have not had much success.

The hood is also open in the back where the rise is at the cowl, so it moves air both out the front vents and through the rear cowl.
Someone can be a hero here and post their own picture of the hood painted in one color

Best Regards,

TJ

That's my old car. The hood was complimented everywhere I went. It looked even better in person.

I'm in the same boat... trying to find a new look for my Stang by getting an aftermarket hood. I was looking at many hoods, but really like the new Cobra R Hood and brand-new Stalker Hood, both by Cervini's.

Still trying to decide, and this post really doesn't help, as there are many hot looking Stangs with aftermarket hoods here.

What's your opinions on the hoods below:

Cervini's Stalker Hood (brand new):

Cervini's Cobra R Hood (I love this one!):

Out of the two....I'd say cobraR! Not a fan of that stalker hood at all.

TJ, still waiting for good pics of that hood in a solid color. Maybe place the unpainted hood on a white GT to give us an idea!?

Last weekend at Mustang Week I looked everywhere for 2010+ aftermarket hoods....only found 5 cars that had them!

So I have finally decided to go with the Cervinis CobraR hood...Photoshop below:

Some nice looking hoods in here for sure. I'm just interested in some carbon fiber 2013 hood vents so I can get a splash of Carbon on the stock hood.

You could remove the stock vents and send them out to be hydro dipped in carbon fiber.

I might see how much the repacements are unpainted and just have them wrapped and epoxy'd. I know a guy.

I'm reviving this thread. Thinking about my next hood. So far, cobra r and Saleen superflow are winning.
