I have had a bunch of parts sitting in my living room for weeks just waiting for a weekend off to install them on my new 2012 Gt, well my weekend finally comes and I'm all excited to get to work on my car.
So I go out to the garage, lay a sheet down on the floor and begin to take apart my front bumper. Alls going great, got the thing off in 20 minutes, so I start to work on taking the grill out and the phone rings.....**** it, cant I get a freakin break from my job for 2 days. Really.....I have to come in.....Your kidding right!!! I'm like, Ive got the front end apart on my car, cant you get someone else. FUUUDGE.
I had to put everything back together and head off to hell again. Son of a B....
will I ever get the time to do the work or maybe I should just pay a shop to install them. I mean hell, I surely can afford it with having to work all the time..

I feel ya man!!! I actually took 2 days off from work to install some stuff. (it was my vacation week and I only took 2/5 days off) I took off Friday and today. Well, I completed the rear of the car over the course of 2 days and the front is on stands now with no wheels. I have some family issues that keep popping up and I keep having to wrap everything up early. This all should have been done on Friday!!!!!!!!:bangh ead: So the result is a half lowered car and a half missing front end.

I almost wish I was going in to work right now!!

Anyways I dropped my car off at the bodyshop at 10am yesterday. It should be done later this afternoon.

They are installing my:
California Special front fascia
Saleen Grill
3D Carbon type 2 window scoops
Roush side splitters
Factory GT500 rear spoiler (painting to match)

I cant wait to get the car back.
Now I will have to decide what stipes I want to go with (Lemans or Super Snake), and then get the windows tinted (thank god they changed the tint law in Illinois)
