New hood stripes
I wanted to experiment with putting a hood stripe on my car, but I didn't want to spend money to have them professionally done and run the risk of not liking it. I went to autozone to pick up something for my wife's car and I saw this full stripe kit for 19.99, and I thought I could use it to experiment. Well it actually came out pretty good for 19.99. I still have 8 feet of this stuff left too. I might order some better quality film and do it myself again. Thoughts?

its to narrow for my taste. I have used these stripes they sell on a New Edge but I removed the thin parts and just used the wider parts and did dual stripes (like the Shelby Stripes)

I'm not good with plasti dip. Tried to do
My gas cap and it was not good. I actually really like this hood stripe, it could be wider, but it's growing on me. I think I'll keep it for a while. The material was actually very easy to work with, unlike other precut stripes I've used.
As I was applying the stripes, this guy on a bike rolled up and started giving me pointers, said he owned a body shop for 30 years. He helped me put it on, it was pretty funny. The cool thing is, he lives in my building, and he is going to help install my suspension stuff this weekend. What are the odds lol.
