Thumbs up My 10-12 Taillight Mod....Reverse Lights Blacked OUT !

Here's my finished project ! Check it out !
I sprayed the reverse lights with about 8-10 coats of VHT Nite Shades spray tint.

Reverse lights in the dark. They're actually a good bit darker than the pic. I would recommend not going over (6) coats to keep the reverse lights a bit more visible.

Hell, I don't think they work worth a crap to begin with. This looks good to me!

Nice! I've been wanting to see this done. I'm not a fan of those bezels though the ones from AM look a lot better.

Thanks for the post

I have wanted to see pics on doing this. Looks good.

Recently I reviewed another post where they used the VHT paint around the outer edges. Just finished doing this and it turned out good.

Nice Mod.

[/QUOTE]Thanks man.

I don't remember where I bought them. They are available from a variety of sources though.

I would definately not spray the reverse lights over 5-6 coats. They obviously must be able to be seen by other drivers.

This is precisely why I will never, ever tint/black out the taillights themselves. That is totally idiotic IMHO. People that do this must totally trust drivers behind them ! Me ? Oh hell no !
