Here it is out of the box. It's between 1/2 to 3/4 inch bigger in all dimensions than the antenna itself, to allow for a 1/4 inch lip to hold the adhesive:

For comparison to the antenna itself:

What's up with the non-fitting Euro-Taillights?

Oldie? (Read my mind) and why wouldn't it work? I'll just put it over them.

It fits, but they're still trying to work out the gaps under the taillights. Once done, they're going to paint the decklid panel black to match and mask the gaps. Probably another week before they're done with the back and then they can finish the front.

I haven't actually installed it - tomorrow, after I clean the car up a bit.

I like the look; the paint match is good. Guess I wish it were a little closer in size to the antenna but it takes what it takes.

Oh ok, you feel it's a little big?

It's probably the best size they can practically make it. You can judge from the photo - I'm being a nitpicker; it does look a lot better than the black antenna.

I know this is an old thread but I would like to know from who put the MMD cover on if they still like it? Also what is the width of the cover?

I still have it and love it. No issues at all. It's just a bit bigger than the sat radio antenna that's already on the car.

Yes, I'm still happy with mine - more so as I've gotten used to it.

I'll try to remember to measure it tomorrow. I'd say it adds 3/8 to 1/2 inch to the width and length of the antenna.

Thank you I think it looks great but reading some other threads a few thought it looked to big. I'm going to order one.

I bought the CPC "shark fin" antenna cover:

I got it "free" using a gift card from wheel purchase a while back.

They don't have Ingot Silver though!

I think they had an unpainted one at one point. You might be able to contact them about other/custom colors.
