I am interested in doing this. Looks like the decklid clips are pretty straightforward but worried about the faux gas cap. I hav a 2014. Is it held by clips or tape to decklid? What did you do that I need to avoid? :-)

Actually both. The center had tape and there are two plastic posts coming from the faux cap that have clips on them. Gotta be careful getting them off or the posts will break. I had tough time with them. But... there's always 3M.

Installed my MMD decklid from AM on my 2014 SGM on Saturday and it looks great. Only issue with install was trying to remove the pony badge from the OEM grille without breaking the pins. I was careful, but not successful. I used 3M tape to re-install on the new decklid and it worked great. This decklid looks much better than the glossy, finger print seeking, dust catching OEM one. Bonus is it matches license plate surround and makes it easier to close trunk. Not cheap, but worth the $ for me.
