Well, the DSS d/s is in, I don't feel anything up to about 100, and only minor something then. Had it up to 110 with no issues.
I didn't cruise at those speeds since it was just a quick spurt there, relax a bit, then quickly back down to sane speeds.

The biggest difference I feel after the work done today is in the shifting.
After a few minutes of driving I started noticing that when I put the shifter into a gear it feels like a little cushion is there now, that wasn't there before.
It feels "cushier" ... lol
I like it, it changed the shifting feel quite a bit.

I'd highly recommend this trans fluid to every MT82 owner out there ...

I took samples of the 5,000-mile Amsoil 10W40 XL from the engine, and the rear-diff fluid which is kinda gray.
I can't wait to see what Blackstone Labs has to say about these fluids ...

Thanks ... got 35-40%, I think 40, so that it's still at the 35% legal limit after taking into consideration the factory 3-4% tint

Yeah, I agree. You have the Roush chin, now you need to add a little "something something" to the rear of that 'Stang.

i m planning to get roush front chin splitters finally... convinced myself of cutting it.. took me 2 months to make up my mind.. i have one last concern... with our lowered setup, is it scrapping or having issues with ground clearance... also can u post a side view of this setup if you have one. thanks in advance.

You learn to approach things at an angle, but you do that anyway once you're lowered. I've only scraped the bottom of it a couple of times and it still looks good.
These are the best pics I have showing the front from the side:

I also have the Roush front splitter, and had the same dilemma you had about cutting the stock one. I wish I had done it sooner. The splitter looks awesome on the car. Plus there was an added benefit of an increase in fuel economy. I instantly saw a 0.5 - 1 mpg increase on my normal commute, and 1.5 mpg improvement on the highway! That was something I was not expecting to see with this mod. As far as your question about scraping / ground clearance issues on a lowered car... just be careful parking it. The parking blocks in most lots are taller than the splitter, and you can end up hitting it on the block if you are not careful. I usually back into spots anyway, but when i have to pull in nose first, I am real careful how far I pull up. Other than that, I have not had it scrape while driving along (I have the FRPP P springs installed)

What grille is that? Looks kind of like Roush, but not quite. Do you still have your fogs back there?

so the stock grille is still behind it? can you still see it or is it pretty well hidden? I realize in the pics it looks pretty well hidden but in person. I guess this is a question for Gabe.

It's the American Muscle black billet grille top/bottom combo

Yes, the fogs are still behind the top grille:

Dip for Hood Vents..

Hi Gabe,
I've been hearing more & more about this "Dip" to use on the Hood Vents. Can you please tell me more about the Dip? (ie. What it is, where to get it at, what it costs, how much it takes to do 2 vents, drying time, etc...).
