Totally disagree. Paint over the snake if you really want to or just leave it alone. Don't go messing with a fitted bumper and grille if you don't have to.

I hope that most people notice that you have a total GT 500 front end instead of an emblem.

If they ask you: Why do you have a GT 500 grille?

Answer: because its a GT 500 bumper. Seems logical, you think?

If they ask you why you have a GT 500 bumper.. Then tell them "I'm awesome like that" now run along.... Lol

Totally disagree. I don't like snake emblems on my non Cobra/Shelby car, but I like the look of the bumper and grille. And the OP had the intent to swap his pony emblem on, so that's why we were discussing the emblem swap. I also like to make things my own, and have no problem cutting up a $200 grille to make it look factory.

oh yes! i love it. ive found out that after you wash it water will come out of the vent in the hood and leave water spots on the windshield no matter how long you wait after washing and drying it.

i went ahead and bought the rear lower bumper piece since it didnt cost much but i cant figure out how the heck to take the other one off. i know theres 4 bolts and 4 of those pop in things and the rest will pop out but i cant figure out how to get to the bolt to take them off.

 

So what are you going to do about the snake?

 

not sure yet. i was planning to pop it off and put on the emblem off of my mca grill but the snake wont pop off and i REALLY dont want to cut up a $600 grille. its painted matte black for now tho.

 

Leave it alone so "someone" can start a new thread about it. Lol

Just plasti dip over the snake if it bugs you. Personally I wouldn't care what anyone thinks and just leave it as is. It's not like your selling the car?

Don't mess with cutting the grille or trying to remove other components if you don't have to. It's not that you can't do it but why risk damage or scratches to day old pristine paint?

Drive your car as is and enjoy the new look.
