Ughhh they put the grilles on before the front bumper was painted! I would slap them because those clips are hard to get out once locked in. Be careful the body shop doesn't break one.

I ever hit a dear I'm going to do the same thing. Actually chased one out of my girlfriends driveway the other night. Really long driveway and suddenly there is standing right at the end. She's hit 3 so I figure my chances are pretty good. :-)

lol it really is a huge pain dealing with getting money from the insurance company and getting everything right so that i can get the gt500 parts and them pay for the true price of the original parts that were on it.

Nice man, the cf hood will definitely drop some pounds and Id only go partial paint on a black car with supporting cf to tie it all together. Youll need hood pins/latches too, Id think, if you dont already.

thanks! i forgot all about ordering the hood pins lol. im fixing to order them now. hopefully they will be in by monday afternoon when im suppose to take the car to the body shop. but i read somewhere that the stock hood was 35lbs and the shipping weight for the carbon fiber hood say 40lbs but its packaged with wood on the ends to protect it so im guessing it about the same weight as the stock hood.

yeah its the mca. i love the emblem on it. if someone wants to buy my stock grill they can get it from me for pretty cheap. the only thing messed up is 2 of the 50,000 tabs broke off but it still stays in there just fine, and the top "bar" thing came loose. it stays in place and you wouldnt have to worry about it but you could glue it in if you wanted to. ill take some pics of it if anybody is interested. if someones close enough to come to look at it then thats fine or ill even ship it 2 someone if they will pay for shipping up front and then they can pay me for the grille after they see the condition its in.
