go hid's in headlights and foglights. cant get any brighter than HID's

Headlights

foglights

lifetime warranty, even on the bulbs. sure there are cheaper hid kits out there, but i've never been disappointed buy these guys. they even replace bulbs for free. (they are the same company as hidguy.net, that is just the mustang specific site)

To keep it legal and pleasant for other drivers... Go w/ the silverstar or silverstar ultras....

If you want bright light, go for HIDs 6K or less in temperature....

If you want proper bright light, projector retrofit. =]

I run SilverStars in both head and fog lights. I refuse to run HID's without a proper projector housing because of the fact is is both illegal and blinding to oncoming traffic.

I put HIDs in my fogs and lowered the angle on them so as not to blind people.

I put the Silverstars in my headlights and there was no difference at all (except scraped up knuckles from putting them in).

Its not that HIDs in general are illegal, its that HIDs without the proper projector will have hot spots and stray beams that can blind oncoming drivers. If one of those happens to be a cop they can definitely give you a ticket for it.

Thanks for all of the input guys. I live in South Carolina and am a former cop (the laws are pretty lax here with vehicle mods). All you have to have in SC are 2 working headlights and dim them to oncoming traffic. Hell, you only need ONE working tail light and ONE working brake light here to be legal loll! Now here's the kicker, if you get a tag light any other color than white $200 fine (only a55hole cops write those tickets though). Anyway, there's a little class on a few South Carolina laws. Thanks for the replies . I'm leaning toword the 6k HID's after the responses and research. Still undecided though.

I'm in the same boat as you, looking at these projector headlights. As far as the HID kit, def go with one over the Silverstars which burn out quick due to the higher wattage, been there, done that. Stay away from cheap HID kits as they are sh!tty and also burn out. If you want a stock look and the most light output, go with 4300K temperature bulbs, otherwise 5000K will give you slightly bluer light matching most luxury OEM HIDs from BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc. Hope this helps.

Bringing this back. A 11 GT500 in town has the HID lights. I don't personally like the look of Halos, his shines great though!! My halogen lights are tons better than was on my 95, so hard to get any better. I have ?'s on his lights. What temp are they? On my 95 I put 3 sets of 4300's on it. I like the white light.

If I order projector lights from say American Muscle, all it says is you get is the housings. It then says you get needed wiring. Does that mean it comes with the 'lights'? What light temp will it come with? Thanks!

I see so bad @ nights I just don't drive then. I think these lights make up for it, too scared to test it. I live in deer/hog/cow, etc country!!
