headlight options
I'm looking for some new headlights to replace my OEM halogens. I like the look of the OEM HIDs but theyre far too expensive. I dont mind the raxiom smoked headlights but I don't like the smoked lenses much, and they apparently have terrible output of light.
My first option is the black ccfl halos that I believe are the same as the raxioms, just not smoked: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...-Headlight-Kit
If those don't work out, I would look at just retrofitting my factory headlights: http://retro-solutions.net/product-l...pg1-cid94.html
Who all out there with experience with aftermarket headlights can help me? I don't want to make the wrong decision.

I have spyder headlights. They look nice, and no condensation issues. I got them from a forum member on here for pretty cheap. One halo stopped working the first day I put them on so I turned the other off too.
nope... there is a company that makes the plug and play harness so you can use the factory hid's into no hid cars.. the harness cost $100 shipped and it is plug and play!
I retrofit mine using the retrofitsource morimoto mini D2S kit.

But the D2S required me to enlarge the hole the bulb went in, the H1 kit is a direct fit.

These are pricey but IMO they look like a great retrofit of the OEM halogen lamps.
