Anyone know of where to get some good liscense plate frames for both front and back? That say like MUSTANG GT on them and don't look corny looking.

They match the chrome grill on her, so it's a win/win. Simple, classy.

/When I get them on, the chrome rolled tip muffler's 'roll' is also a match.

 

I'm ordering my Mustang in January for the 2012MY I want to get a plate cover that says:

"My other car ... is faster than yours, too!!"

 

There are places online that make custom frames and you can make them say whatever you want. And they come in different colors too.

 

IMO license plate frames with writing are not cool. Kind of kind having the dealers sticker on your trunk lid but if you are looking for a nice clean billet license plate frame I recommend Billet Specialites.

On my Gen2 Lightning I had one that had "1999 Lightning" at the top and "Something Wicked This Way Comes" across the bottom.

$40 is kind of pricy but I think they would look awesome on my black 2011.

 

Best frame I ever saw had "Dad bought it" on top, and "But, I got it" on the bottom. It was on a 99 SS camaro.

I can respect someone who understands the luck they have in their parents buying them a badass car.

I just got a simple black frame and black screw covers from Autozone. Simple and nice looking, IMO.

 

No frame looks best IMO. Adding a frame draws additional unneeded attention to the license plate.

 

I know what you mean, however; having a license plate that says "light-speed", attention is pretty much a given...

 

I just use a smoked shield.

Similarly to what's on this one's front end. And then just dark finish screws. (along with no plate in the front). They can be bought at just about any autoparts store.
