Friggin unreal Danielle, guess things do happen for a reason sometimes. Not that any of our opinions matter to what you drive daily, but I gotta agree the black stripes look 10 times better than white.

 

Yeah the white would look better.

I was thinking the same thing. My fiancée agrees with the notion that black goes with the top, but also understands that all that black out back makes the rear look too black. But the front looks just hella mean.

This has been interesting, and in a way really awesome that I've gotten the opportunity to try out black for a bit since they effed up.

I think I'll go with my heart and go with white. It's not as sinister and angry, but at the same time it is. I understand it's a bit against the trend but I have a pallete in my head. If I had goften GHIG (my first choice) it would have had black stripes for example. Race red would be black, dark red would be white, dib would be black black would be red, white would be guardsman blue, and so on...

I'm not saying in anyway that black is bad. Black screams sinister. White screams racecar (and smurf). Besides I can't get plates that say SMRF 302, if I don't have white stripes. I can bet if I left it as is people will say it looks Awesome and appreciate it. If I change to white, people will feel the same, say it was a good choice, and like and appreciate it. Some will like, some wont but hopefully most will sAy its (at least so far) one of the cleanest most tastefully modded '13 Grabber GT Verts, regardless of final stripe color.

 

What if you did white with thin black pinstripes on the outer edge, a la 2011-12 GT500 Track Pack?

 

You know, a lot of people say "it's your car, do what you want," but I feel like, to some degree or another, people want something that will impress other people. I admire your adherence to your initial vision. And you're right, the white will still get plenty of compliments.

 

If you want smurf, go white convertible top & no stripes.

 

 

I gotta say, that black stripes look awesome. I think it fits with the black top, blackout panel between the taillights and black license plate surround. Not sure how white is going to look with that, would love to see a photoshop or some pics.

 

i think it looks great on a coupe. Can't find any pics of a Grabber Vert from '13..

The front looks better in black. (barely)
The rear I think looks better in white. (much more so on the '13 IMO)
The sides is a wash, in my opinion. (black does look a little more sinister here)

 

That doesn't look quite as bad as I thought it would with the black top... so I'm back with ya on the white. Kinda like those wheels, too.

 

I think the white stripes in the front help accentuate the shape / size of the grill openings. With the white side stripes, chrome wheels instead of gray would look smashing!

 

You don't put chrome wheels on these cars.

 

 

The white stripes looks nice on grabber blue but it doesn't look as aggressive and awesome as the black stripes. But then again it depends what you going for. What about silver to go with the wheels you have right now?

 

grabber blue was made to have white stripes.

either way, its a girls car so it doesn't matter to me.
