Cervini hoods

Question for those with a Cervini hood. How well do they fit? How much prep work is required? Order painted or not? Thanks.

A friend has one on his 2006 GT and he said the fit was great, very little work was needed to get it done, on the car.

I have their Cobra R on mine, and it fits... okay. I had it painted to match because the car was involved with a "backing into" accident, and there was no freakin' way I was putting paint on the aluminum hood.

That said... I can't say perfect. It's not terribly noticeable, and I'm thinkin' maybe I can tweak the fenders up to make the fit a little better... I don't know anything short of going to the factory and having hood after hood put on to get a perfect fit on it how to get a perfect fitting hood, to be honest.

But I do like the overall look, and as such, I'm happy with it. For now. If I win the lottery, though, I'm half a mind to take it to Cervini and go "what the hell, guys?"
