Ok guys as some may already be aware of I did an update to the stock radio system to a Kenwood radio HU, I also am wanting to compliment the new unit with better speakers, however the OEM do quite well (better then the truck...) but I want to have even better, so I am wanting to just update to Kenwood to match the HU, anyways what size are the speakers, they look to be 6x8 but I want to be sure as the ones I am looking at are 6x9's and I don't want to get them and find out they will not fit, also will I need any wire harness adapters? looking at Crutchfield they are indicating I will need the adapters to make after market speakers work, can you guys help me confirm all this?

Ok after a bit of exploration I am certain the door speakers are 6x8 also my mustang is using the grey connection as well
