Black wheels

Personally for blacks wheels to work and look good the car must have other black accent things like black stripes, tinted windows, black mirrors caps, black grill, etc.... Also no a big fan all black wheels, prefer ones that have chrome or bright aluminum pieces.

And to all the people that are complaining about cleaning the wheels... I love detailing my car. I can spend a whole day out there washing, waxing, vacuuming, dusting. Its a labor of love for me. One may say spraying plastidip on a car will make less dirt show...but then you have a plastidipped car.

I'm not a fan of black wheels. When I decided to get another set of wheels through my research of red cars black wheels looked best. It just fits certain cars/color better. I also had an unofficial poll of people that weren't exactly into cars. All but three out of ten people picked the black wheels over gunmetal. And for the argument of "everyone has them" count how many mustangs you see going home everyday. If you want to do something to set yourself apart from the mustang crowd it will be something outrageous...

I was always gung ho about chrome wheels. I agree that you could get tired of black wheels. That's why i went with the deep dish Bullitts on my 11. I still love chrome though. These wheels are the best of both worlds IMO.

There's a couple owners on here that have had their factory Brembo Package wheels chromed. It looks amazing. I know one of them has a black car, so check in the black paint section..

Lol. So far she is a good girl, but time will tell! My wife named her saying something about the car being like a girl who prances around topless.

maybe I should get the Brembos chromed or polished, lower the car to eliminate wheel gap & make the wheels appear bigger, and then widen the rears so I can fit a 305 series tire! lol...bad idea?
I spent about 6 hours this weekend trying to find good wheels for the 10-13's. All the factory wheels suck besides the 18" base GT 5 spokes (which are too small) and the Brembos. The only other wheel that really jumped out at me as amazing were the super snake alcoas...which are $1000+ each on eBay. After tires and everything, you are looking at 5-6k. Not cool
There was a set if roushes that looked ok, but I only saw them in black on other cars.

i too disliked how the dark-stainless painted aluminum looked on my brembo wheels. so painted some portion with black so that rest pops up little better. got good compliments but now i m no longer happy with it.. i m too in search of replacement.
