Anyone welded in their cat back exhaust?

Wonder if anyone has had theirs welded in to cut down on exhaust leaks?

Not a good idea, as it will be PITA to remove when/if you need to.

Use quality band clamps and you won't have any leaks.

+1 on that.
Just use good band clamps.
Sometimes it take a little adjusting, but you can do it.

I plan on welding mine in. Should last 10 years and then if I still have it, it will be cut out so who cares. Welding is lighter, tighter and stronger and less likely to drag around road kill.

One band clamp had to be welded when my exhaust was installed.

I helped my brother in law remove the aftermarket exhaust on his vette and although it was a pain it came off fine and we were able to re-use the headers.
I would just make sure they don't get crazy with the beads of weld. His exhaust also had clamps which I found odd but it didn't leak thats for sure.
