2010 gt (gt500 front end conversion)

Hey guys,
So recently I did a front end conversion on my GT, because even though the front of my gt was already nice, i liked the agressive look of the GT500. So i went to a local ford dealership and got all the parts, it came to a total of 3000, which is what you can buy a gt500 front end conversion kit for, the only problem is that price doesnt include tax or shipping... 3000 was with shipping and the dealership was local so it was Will Call.

So i completed the conversion, and just wanted to know what you think.

Yes i removed the badge, because im not a poser... I ordered a running horse badge from AM and it should be here wednesday.

And before you start asking me why i didnt get a gt500 in the first place, please read my post in the Introduction section.

So The Front end conversion is not the only thing i will be doing to this car, I will be upgrading to a supercharger, and possibly forged internals to get more PSI out. But for right now i will be slowly working on the exhaust, now that I have the look I want, i will work on the sound. Because lets face it 318HP is just about plenty for a beginner like me. (mind you i have a 2013 f150 ecoboost that can push well over 400)
So for sound, i am going to do a resonator delete, with gt500 ford racing mufflers, i will be doing headers too, but i will bunch that up when i do the SC that way i will have to mess around under the hood all at once.

I will show you guys what i am going to do to Rebadge my car with the horses so it does not look too bad (since the cobra emblem is indented into the grill itself...)
and yes i did think about the Roush Grill you can buy on AM, but i did not the fact that the hood grill would be parrallel grill lines, and the bumper grill would be diamond grill pattern.

I will be upgrading the headlights as well.

So about the conversion. I followed a PDF that i got for free offline, I wish i would have taken a video for you guys... I apologize but that was not possible. The conversion itself was very easy, it just took a while since i had to change the foglight connectors, and it was my first time doing the soldering method, before every car i worked on i would just use electrical tape

So tell me what you guys think of the conversion on my car, I will take more higher quality pictures once i install the grill emblem when it comes in the mail.

Also please tell me, do i have to create another thread to show my installation of the Mufflers and the delete as well?
or can i just put it into this thread since technically the mufflers are on the "exterior".

Thank you

CDC upper? that doesn't fit the GT500.

Argh you're right. Guess it has to be the 13-14 GT500 grilles. I always forget about those lower corners

Thank you everyone...
As far as upgrading the rear... what does that take, from what i gather there is not much difference between the two?
Is there a link to a thread where someone does that?

Never mind, I see you swapped the hood, too. I was wondering how that would work.

All you need is this
http://www.americanmuscle.com/rear-diffuser-1012.html

and this
http://www.americanmuscle.com/painte...iler-1012.html

$500 for the rear. I've replaced my spoiler and valance and together the install should be 2 hours or less, very simple!

Thats awesome! thank you Studly. I will probably be doing this in the near future, Got my Ford Racing gt500 exhaust, was ready to install it that realized that i need some new brackets, and new rubbers, mine were pretty bad, once i get those i will proceed with install.
