Your thoughts on a fender badge

Need ideas for a fender badge for a 2013 V6 with the performance package. I wish Ford would have had a "special" fender badge for PP cars. Here are some classic and new badges....any thoughts?

normally I would agree...but it could use something small, that's not tacky to break up the side a little.

You will be a poser if you put svt or svo on your car. Just saying.

When I swapped my 5.0 badges for pony badges ... I thought the car looked better with no badges. Unfortunately I had holes in my fenders though ...

I would get the "Powered by Ford" badge.

I was going to have a badge made for my car that said "227 low performance" but it was too expensive to create.

like this, lol

They all would look good. The only thing to watch for is a couple weeks ago when I was about to pull the trigger on the powered by ford ones, someone warned me about the quality of them. The badges are so cheap it's definitely a get what you pay for kind of thing. So they will look great and they're cheap to replace, it's just the in between whenever they fade or paints chipped or they just look bad. That's another reason why the real powered by ford ones are so much more expensive. And they were on the sgts which probably has something to do with it haha

I can tell you the normal (non shelby) powered by ford badges will fade in the sun. the red stripe will fade after only a few months. thankfully the ford logo itself remains in good shape so all you have to do is cut some small strips of vinyl to go over the stripe.

I saw the powered by Ford badges being offered on the shelbyamerica website, thought if they offer them they have to be high quality.

The gf did the 3.7 on the 6'er. I think they look decent.

I don't think the SVT or Shelby badges would be 'right' on a non SVT / Shelby vehicle.

Find someone who does vinyl printing/wrapping and have them do, "MAYHEM" in an OEM-looking font. I say Mayhem b/c that was the name chosen by fans for it (though Ford seems not to have gone with it) & it sounds better than, "Performance Package" lol. Couldnt cost you more than $50 & probably more like $10-20 if you find the right place. Was considering this but then went GT.

I like retro badges. This is a repro from the 67-68.

No badges.

Love the clean look down the side and it 'keeps 'em guessing' as to what you got.

No badges or 3.7.

I can't read "Powered by Ford" without thinking back to all the Powered by Honda banners/stickers people used to plaster over their civics. I don't see how this is much better. It's a Mustang guys, so recognizable and famous that the car doesn't even say Mustang anywhere on the outside, we all KNOW it's a Ford.

Flame-suit on... I know some people paid over $100 for those badges back in the day lol
