I live in the northeast USA and am interested in buying a 2010- 2012 V6 with the "track" package.

Well, 2010 was a 4.0 V6 with 210 HP, the 2011-2012 V6 was a new 3.7 with 305 hp.
The 11-12 cars would be much more satisfying then the truck-engine-equipped 2010, and the Performance Pack was a decent addition to the car, but remember it included summer tires, and in the Northeast you'll want a different set of tires or a different wheel/tire set-up for winter use (always a good recommendation, regardless of car)

 

Remember on the V6 it is considered Performance Package and not Track Package and the Performance Package was from Late 2011 so you will probably do better looking for a 2012.
