V6 Performance Package
V6 Performance Package
E-mailed Ford to ask about when the performance package would be up on the B&P site, here is what they e-mailed back:
Sort of a brush-off answer.
Release date has already been tentatively announced as Job 2 which starts on the 16th.
Too bad they can't just tell you straight up.
Now lets see if they hold up the PP cars for quality control checks for a couple of months like the first 2011's were.
Curtis,
I wish I could give you a more satisfying answer, but we typically don't announce specific release dates for future product changes very far in advance of a release.
For competitive reasons, and because new vehicle schedules are wholly contingent on the first batch of anything new passing very stringent quality control checks, giving out specific dates is also sometimes a moving target.
What I can tell you is that generally speaking our build-and-price modules will let you configure a vehicle about a month before it is available in showrooms. So please stay tuned.
We're happy to hear that you are looking forward to driving a new Mustang.
Thanks for taking the time to write.

I was going with sterling grey mettalic until I looked at my black 2010 and decided to go with black its just so **** mean looking.
I figure lowered/wheel spacers/tint&tinted tails/spoiler-less/shorty ant/red brake calipers/street scene center fog grille*w/the fogs tinted&headlight splitters will do me just fine, also thinking about a custom side exhaust setup w/my pre-ordered C&L intake=
