Tune,Intake and Axle-Back
I think you're talking about sinking a lot of ca$h into mods for a car you want to replace in a year or two. That money might be better spent on that GT you want to score. Just my $0.02 worth.
Man...
Intake, Tune, Exhaust, Gears, Springs... this is starting to add up. I'm guessing you'd have the gears and springs installed (plus aligned) and that'll cost a pretty penny.
If you're wanting some more fun out of it, I/T/E is a good place to start... and probably finish if you're about to switch cars completely.
I'm in the same boat...
If I sell/upgrade in a month-year from a GT to a... idk yet then no mods... If I wait for the next mustang, then perhaps I/T/E.
You almost never get your modification money back from selling. If anything, it usually decreases the value.

Those all sound good, and you should be able to do everything yourself except for the gears and the springs. That's a pretty good chunk of change you're lookin' at though...
Coming from another stock v6 owner, seeing you say that you want to get the gt next year i would just hold off on mods honestly. Set that money aside for upgradin your pony to a stallion once you get a hold of the v8 motor. Because no doubt youll be wantin to do the same mods on there sp just save your money.
If you really want to beef up your sixxer then I/T/E is a great way to start. After that id go with suspension work, then gears. Or vice versa doesnt really matter. But still just my .02 would just be to save your money for now
