Shane has been working on it for a few hours. He'll be posting back to you shortly!

We absolutely are going to take care of you as a customer. We value everyone in this thread, even the negative feedback. We're a business, but we're also passionate about the Mustang aftermarket and know what it's like to purchase something and not be happy with the results.

We're going to get you squared away - we wouldn't leave you high and dry!

Ahhh... gotcha. Understood. We usually credit back the card that was used on the sale. I can see where when he was saying "account" it wasn't clear. It's definitely an ironic situation. We're getting CVH all taken care of. Shane is working on SouthCarolina12.

One thing that I want to make clear to everyone is that we've always done this for our customers, regardless of whether there's a thread or not. If you give us a shout, we'll make things right. Shane is just about to post about the situation with Bama not responding to datalogs, so you'll see that in a few minutes. However, I want to make it clear that we have a great system in place where when you call or email - we're here. We're not the company that's tough to get ahold of. We have dozens of Mustang experts on staff and during our business hours there's no way that we simply "didn't answer" or "didn't respond". There were some special circumstances about the size of the attachments on SouthCarolina12's emails that caused a problem.

Hope this helps and you guys know we'll make it right for you...

southcarolina12,

After talking with our IT guys & Bama Team, I found what most likely happened with your datalogs & emails. There's a spam filter within the Bama Support email in which catches spam (or sometimes not for this situation) over 10MB. If your datalog went too long or had tons of different parameters and was larger than this size, it would get caught by the filter and not be delivered to the Bama Team.

The filter limit of 10MB is a little now, IMO. Most datalogs aren't this large, but it's possible to exceed the limit for sure. So, I'm having the IT guys adjust the filter tolerance to 20MB, which is twice the size. This should guarantee that all extensive datalogs make it to Bama's inbox. Another way to guarantee a large email file will make it to their inbox, is if you compress or zip the file. This also allows any sized file to go through.

As I mentioned earlier, I truly do not believe anyone on the Bama Team was ignoring your emails. It sounds like they simply weren't arriving. I think if you try and compress or zip your large filed emails in the future, you won't have any issues getting in touch moving forward. You can always send a separate email not containing any attachments to ask if they received you datalogs. Lastly, you can give the Bama Team a call and follow up with them to see if they received the email. They will be able to tell you right there and then or work with you to figure out why the email hasn't come through.

I want to get your tunes taken care of for sure! We need to give this a shot before a refund is in order. I'm more than confident Bama will be able nail down your tunes now and that you'll be satisfied with their customer service moving forward. Especially since we've found a new insight on the datalog issue!

Shane

Fair enough. I guess the moral of the story is, using a forum thread or PM is not as effective as a direct phone call or email to American Muscle Customer Service about an issue. I'll keep that in mind.

i just checked and it was 15MB so yep that was the problem. but when i data logged it was actually about 5 or so mins shorter than the instructions yall sent me so i dont understand why it was larger than it was suppose to be.

southcarolina12,

That's sort of good news, at least it gives us an answer why the email wasn't getting through. Why it was over 10MB, I'm not exactly sure. Did you have an additional parameters selected by mistake? The more parameters you log the larger the file will be.

Regardless, I'm getting the filter adjusted for the future so this won't be a problem. On top of that, I would always zip the file, so you're guaranteed to send or receive the full file and know nothing was cut off. As I've seen this happen a hand full of times, too.

One of our lead calibrators (Don) has already giving you a call and left a VM. When you get a chance, give him a call back and he'll work with you to resolve your current tunes. You can also send the datalog directly to his email, if you like!

I know this new information will help us move forward in the future and eliminate the problems that you were experiencing.

I have to ask you CVH..... you have the world's only N/A 12.8 second v6 sporting 2.73's..... how can you claim a poor tune? In many posts in many forums you have made this claim... all while running a Bama tune. If anything, this Bama tune is responsible for your world record pass.

Also, I think insult to injury would be to give him money back that he can only use with us. We're refunding him cash that he can choose to do what he wants with it. We absolutely hope that he'll give us his business and know that we value him as a customer, but we're not going to force him into it.

Let me know if I'm missing something? We truly are trying to take care of our loyal customers and friends here at TMS.
Bro, Respectfully don't even waste your time trying too explain too the bafoon's on here. Your better off writing to an onion. You really added insult too the injury by giving the man a full credit too his used credit card for the purchase. Of course I'm sure he told you guys that he no longer has that credit card.

They did the right thing. The refund was not expected, they shipped out another dongle.

? 13.8 sounds right. And I did give Bama a good review on the first tune they provided for my CAI. I have not been to the track with the new Steeda tune, until tonight! I just got back from Steeda headquarters. You get a good feeling walking into a building that has mustang enthusiasts in it. Matt was awesome help and hooked me up with a hat! and GUS revised my shifts for me right there on the spot! I also got to meet another fellow Mustang source member 2011GT.

Keep lying there budd..... here's your post...

I added 32oz of Torco to my tank in my '13 Cyclone. I am getting over 35mpg on the highway. My throttle position is @ 17% going 65-70mph(my sweet spot). I love this stuff! I originally added it to my tank to run the 1/4mi over the weekend and the power addition is like having a baby supercharger. And the sound it transforms is amazing. burns 100% of the gas.
You can mix your octane to get over 107+<------- i mixed to 100octane.
I did a lot of research as to what harms the sensors with other additives and this is the only safe , clean unleaded additive on the market that I could find. It is expensive tho.
ran a 12.8 over the weekend with my 2.73 ratio. Without it, i run a low 13 ----> and a 12.9 once that was a couple months ago.No spray
If you push the throttle down, as i am not doing in this video, you will not get good gas mileage, it will burn faster.
Curious to try this in the '14 5.0L

i doubt that was even a misprint...... shall i look up other posts on other forums?

here's the link too.... https://themustangsource.com/f801/over-35mpg-526746/

Is it possible to use an additive to boost the octane level and get those type of 1/4 mile times?

But CVH just denied writing 12.8 and said 13.8 sounds right. Someone got caught in a lie and they were called out. I just read the older post attached and CVH clearly posted 12.8 and 12.9 and in fact confirmed it twice.
