SCT-3 Tuner
Okay so a few years back I bought a SCT-3 Tuner box from one of the well know sites with tunes for my 2010 V6 Mustang. I have since sold the 2010 and bought a 2011 V6 Mustang. I returned the 2010 to stock before I traded it in.
Can I use the same tuner box on the 2011 if I have a tuner update it for the new 2011? Cars are both Auto's.
I want to install a tune on the 2011 but don't want to buy a tuner box if I don't have to.
I am running the JLT Cold air without a tune right now but the bottom end has something to be desired. I hear the tune will help.

I don't know the answer to your question but I can tell you this much. You will really love the car tuned. I too have a 2011 V6 and am so glad I got the sct performance tuner. Huge difference in how the car shifts, immediate acceleration and pulls way harder. No more lag time when you juice it and the car doesn't skip gears like it does stock. No more jolting forward when acceleration is minimal as it goes from first to fourth gear, skipping over gears. Automatic that is of course. Huge difference. I can now beat a 2010 Stock GT from just using the 91 performance tune and it costs under 400 dollars.
