Not to mention the obvious better gas mileage during normal cruising. Theres no V8 noise, however Centrifugal Supercharger noise is quite nice as well.
2011 + Mustangs make more HP than even the 98-09 N/A GT's 2010 GT made 315HP only 10 more than the new V6.. With the exception of the SVT Cobra aka Terminator if I am not mistaken.

The 99,01,03,04 Cobras and the 03-04 Mach 1s are pretty much the sole exceptions 05-10 GTs are nothing special.

In a way I should have committed myself to looking harder for a Terminator, too hard to find the perfect one locally. Also wanted something I could drive to work everyday, and the Terminator is a bit on the impractical side and I couldnt find a Coyote for the price and options I wanted. 05-09 GTs make me want to puke, I find them almost as ugly as Fox Bodies. It was pretty much 99-04 or 11+ or nothing.

IMO, the 3.7 v6 has proven to be extremely reliable at 500HP. There are many 500HP SC'd v6's out there and I've yet to hear of one blowing up. The only blow up I know of is a v6 pushing 600HP. I've heard of a lot of Coyote's blowing up with simply a tune though. Unless somebody proves that wrong. In fact, this may sound crazy but I'd be more comfortable with pushing the V6 to 500HP than the 5.0 without touching the internals of the motor.

A motor isn't perfectly fine at 599HP, then blows at 600HP. It's just a matter of time, til it blows based on the boost applied. That just further confirms my suspicion that 500+HP is on the wrong end of reliability. #8 was a tuner issue and nothing more.

Bad use of statistics there. There's a "probability" of an engine blowing depending on how much boost you have. The higher you go, the higher the curve of that probability. Which means that 550-600HP could increase your probability by well over 50% of a failure whereas 500 HP only slightly increases that probability. And comparatively, a Coyote engine at that same HP could have a much higher probability of blowing (which I actually think is 100% accurate based on real world examples of blow ups).

Again...I would expect to see or read about blow ups if the probability was high enough to be worrisome at 500HP. I've searched, searched and searched more for an example of a 3.7 blowing up. I can't find any except for the 600HP example. But I have found many examples of 5.0's blowing up at a much lower HP than 500 with only a tune. Like I said...prove me wrong. I'd like to read about real world examples of this "matter of time" risk.

You completely missed my point, yet restated exactly what I was saying. There is no magic number that will suddently blow an engine, but over 500HP is greatly increasing those odds.

I don't have to prove anything...that is a long dead issue that no one cares about anymore. Even with the initial batch of bad tunes, it was an isolated issue. You gonna bring up the MT-82 next? Back to topic...

Will do. You still thinking about going with a ProCharger? I had one in my '05 GT, it wasn't bad.

Sounds like a plan. A lot of things I wanted to do with my V6, but I was young and had kids. Now I want to do things , but still have kids. Honestly I'm trying to travel before I leave Europe or I could have my LTs and exhaust.
