Well its new to me!

Any sponsors to help with the build yet.
You should post a list of needed parts (no part to small or big) and see if any of these shops or vendors want to be a part of your journey to having the fastest 3.5 and Coolest Mustang at the track.
That would be a marketing win for everyone.
He decided to go with the race plate instead and it's an inch thick. He makes it slightly larger and then uses a huge hydrualic press to install it, no welding.

Besides MPT and Modular head shop no other major sponsors, although there will be some minor sponsors like UPR, Full-race, beefcake racing, and circle D torque converts and Levels performance (intercooler). These guys are giving my significant discounts on parts which has saved me thousands. Modular head shop is giving my a really good deal on the engine, basically I just bought the parts. Even with all the discounts for the motor rebuild, trans rebuild, new intake, and new turbos it's costing around $15k.

I've been thinking about running the car on hemp ethanol and getting sponsors from the legal cannabis industry, which I work in by the way. Here's a pic of the wrap I would use on the car

Part 4 really brings back memories lol. I took my kid to sonic for a burger and Mike calls and says the transmission exploded on the dyno and to hurry back. The crushing weight of a year's worth of work and a 2 1/2 day drive to Florida were all coming together to dissapoint. Turns out it was the transbrake, it locked up on the dyno whole going 80 mph and somehow the trans survived.

How about over the rear wheels it could say....
[SIZE="4"]Smoke'em if you got Got'em[/SIZE
Next you will be telling us that you installed a new CAI called the Bong!
However I do like the wrap.

I truly enjoy your build.
Your smart enough to know you will see a dream come true!
Name your car>>> Perseverance
OK maybe a little long
I do feel that once you sort things out with the new build you will have sponsors knocking at your door. These will be the sponsors that need to see that it an investment that they will profit from.
Just because your running there product. But money is Green!
It's the early sponsors that are on board that TRULEY believe in your project. And to be honest. Smart enough to know you are on to something big that will change how things are done and what's possible.

No need to tell you that Perseverance will always win!

Bossman you crack me up

So my wife has mostly given me the go ahead to trade in my 2013 f150 on a 2017 Raptor! I've been kinda freaking out ever since I found out it was for sale. Deal isn't done yet, trying to find a dealer that isn't going to rip my lips off. Best I found is a $5k markup while some told me $20k. Fairly loaded before dealer markup they are $58k, with nav, leather, remote start, electric windows, locks, trailer control. Seems reasonable for the technology and weight reduction that it has.

Great tread Ecostang. I joined just to follow along on your adventure.

I am wondering why you did not go with stroker kit like the EcoBoost 4.0 liter from Super Six.

Since the 4.6 fits then the ecoboost should fit, they should even use the same motor mounts.

Thanks, welcome!

I did think about it, cost was one reason and also my engine builder highly discouraged it. He told me that the engine would be less balanced and that it would be even slower revving than it is now. Basically if you turn the boost up it comoensates for all that, so we are just throwing bigger turbos on.

Yes, check out AJ Hartman Racing, he races an SN95 in American Iron with a 3.5 EcoBoost in it.
