They showed up today! Can't wait to see the bright yellows with the HIDs.
It may rain tonight but will post some pics tomorrow night after installation.

Wow these lights look good combined with HIDs @night. I love them. I figured the yellow tint would be more functional.

-Headlight bulbs are D3S

-Fog lights are 35 watt H11 type

Well I went ahead and ordered the fog light kit. It comes from China! I was hoping to get it installed soon. I don't understand why they would do such a good job with the headlights and leave a standard ugly bulb in the fog lights.

Yes I did a few days ago. I hardly take it out at night so I haven't seen what they look like yet (at night). The car goes in the garage before nightfall and gets covered. I'll try to take some pics soon and post them.

You'll like it. The fogs will provide so much more visibility instead of being there basically for looks. The fact that shipping takes so long is the one thing I don't like about DDM.

Glad I've helped inspire some folks to make a change.

One thing to note is the light output.

If you switch to another H11 bulb you're just still getting the crappy 1100 lumen output.

If you go with HIDs, you're jumping up to 3200 lumens.

Over the winter I actually planned on swapping to 55w HIDs in the fogs, which raise the output to around 5000 lumens. I did this in the headlights of my old GTO and the difference was nuts. Dunno how it'll play out in the Mustang, but it's worth trying, I think.

I did notice that the output was the same. I'd like to put in HID's but don't want to blind the crap out of the oncoming traffic.

I'll wait for you to do it first Danielle and see if the housing melts with the 55W in the fogs, the Mustang Fog light looks a bit bigger than my old Mazda 3 but I melted mine with them.

I have a '14 V6 with the MCA fog lights. It is my understanding they are 35 watt halogen bulbs. I would like to switch to a light similar in color to the HID headlights. I have looked on line and found H11 LED bulbs. However, they run on 7 watts of power. If I purchase these and put them in will they work? Or am I going to have electrical/heat problems?

H11's are 55w.

LEDs draw virtually no heat.

The color will be white/whiter, but they will also be quite dim.

HID kits are usually 35w. there are also 55w kits too.
