Ive been hearing from variouse people that the GT and the V6 share Throttle bodies. Not as far as size goes but that you can get an aftermarket TB and it will install on both. Is this true or a complete fairytale?

Lol...I was in the car didnt feel like spelling throttle body out the whole way...

That's a good question. I have a BBK throttle body on my v6 and I can test tomorrow if it fits on my GT.

They do not interchange, bolt pattern on the GT is wider.

The actuators are identical though.

i believe there was a company that was suppose to make a adapter plate kinda like a throttle body spacer to make it work though.

CFM made one or two to put the GT TB on a V6 but the results were less than spectacular as I recall, they never marketed them though.
