Agreed. Cams for F/I are different than N/A. If I remember correctly, a big one is that you want some overlap between intake and exhaust ports on n/a but not on f/i.

DRaider90, I'd consider looking at cams and heads as an alternative to a blower as they are both pretty high in cost. If you supply the heads and cams, supersix's port, regrind, and springs (which you'll probably need with the cams) runs a bit over 4k. If you need additional tools to adjust the cam phase or tappet clearance, that's some significant additional money. (I'm not entirely sure what you need, as it's more engine work than I've done so far.) You also may be looking at new injectors if you haven't done it yet.

procharger's supercharger kit runs in the low 5ks, and as far as I understand is fairly complete in terms of the parts you need. (I haven't installed it, so I'm again going from secondhand information.)

I'm pretty sure if you are grinding on the cams thmesleves,..you are in fact changing the performance, (whether good or bad), of those cams.
Ghost cams are just what the name implies,...a ghost. Not a performance cam, more like a idle changer from a tune.
My personal opinion,...I would stay away from them.

When/if I have an extra $5k-$6k laying around for a Procharger spending a bit extra for a different set of cams and selling the old ones isn't that big of an issue in my book. But yes I understand cams for F/I are different than N/A.

Right now I don't have any plans on going F/I, like I stated prior its something nice to dream about but heads/cams are a much more realistic route in my opinion. Maybe a long ways down the road when I have done everything I can imagine to the engine (that has available parts that is) I might start kicking the idea of F/I around. But that is a long ways away, and I will cross that bridge when I get there. Don't get me wrong I like planning ahead, that is kind of the point of this thread... so I can have an idea of which direction to head when I get finished with bolt-on's.

I have yet to see cammed V6 Mustang in person, let alone even see a video of a cammed 3.7 yet. I like the idea of going down the paths less traveled.
