Fog lights

Hey guys. My passenger side lo-beam started not functioning about a month ago. I finally took it into my ford dealership today to see if they could diagnose the problem. After about 4 hours of looking and $90 worth of time on their special diagnostics machine, they determined the fog light kit I bought from American muscle was shorting out the fuse to my headlights, causing the one side lo-beam not to work. Any ideas on what could be causing that to happen? I dropped about $300 on that kit, it would be a real shame to not be able to use it......

Who installed it? I've been running the Starkey kit since I bought the car in 2010 and have never had any issues.
