Tune

I am considering getting a tune for my 2014 V6, but I am hesitant because of my warranty. I have 1800 miles and still have two years left on my warranty. I have Roush axelbacks, Ford Racing X pipe, and an Airaid cold air intake. I was debating on doing the BBK throttle body. Has anyone had issues with there tune? Thanks

The Steeda tune is built on being safe, reliable & powerful. We have many years of tuning experience under out belt ... for example, take our lead tuner James for example:

James G.
Lead Tuner and Calibrator

James has over 15 years of experience professionally tuning Fords - mainly the Mustang, Focus, Fusion and F-series. He was previously employed by SCT and trained many of their top tuners! James takes pride in providing quality, conservative tunes that you will feel confident in loading onto your daily driver. Reliability while providing tremendous gains are at the core of our tuning values.
I will let the others weigh in ... but if your looking at a great tune that does not cause problems in the first place ... then look no further than Steeda.

Let me know if I can help assist ... you can reach me at tim@steeda.com

Best Regards,

TJ

Tim -
Thanks for the info... will send you an e-mail with my questions. Looking for a tune for my recently-acquired 2012 Mustang GT.

To the original poster: I purchased a 2012 Mustang V-6 back in 2011. Put a tune on it immediately after purchase and ran it for three years. Never had an ounce of trouble, never had any pushback from my dealer. They knew it was tuned and never raised any fuss. The tune, along with an install of 3.73 gears, transformed my car. Go for it!

Storm75 I just loaded a Steeda 93 performance tune last week on my 2013GT and I must say I am impressed. Power and drivability are both improved Steeda is a quality company with excellent customer service.

I also have a steeda tune. It's nice. I prefer my Redliners tune as the throttle is a little more aggressive which I prefer.

Hey Tim,

I'm also looking for a tune. What is the best price on that? And what forum discount do you offer?

I already have the X4 7015 Tuner with me.

Hello,

The price for a single tune (since you already have a tuning device) is $99.00 (no updates if mods are purchased down the road).

To enroll in our tunes for life program ... it is $150.00.

You can check out both options here:

http://www.steeda.com/steeda-certifi...om-tune-96-14/

http://www.steeda.com/steeda-certifi...g-custom-tune/

The 6% discount will work towards the tunes ... you can use ms6offsteeda ... unfortunately, if you try to buy the tuning device & the tunes ... the discount won't work since we do not manufacture the SCT device.

Hope that helps!

Best Regards,

TJ

There are many tuners out there. The question is....How far are you willing to push your motor.
I myself went with a Steda Tune for a couple of reasons. They are SAFE / REIABLE / CUSTOMER FRIENDLY and stand behind there product. For a mail tune its a huge improvement.
Would I buy from Steda Again.... Yes 100%. But thats just me!
That's of coarse unless they get a different tunner...Lol
On a serious note: I have had my Steda Tunes for 2 1/2 years and not looking to change a thing. Its a 93 tune.
Good Luck in your quest for a tune and please post up your end results.

I have my 2012 GT Bama tuned, and it was the best mod I have ever made. Steeda has a lot of support and I hear nothing but good things about them as well. In regards to warranty, I just put my tune back to the "factory" setting when I take it in. I also cover up my Bama Tune badge with electrical tape. It is in my engine bay.
