Does anyone know why the price for these axle backs went way up in price? Just got mine for a little over four hundred. American muscle is now at least a hundred and fifty more and I seen them elsewhere for over two hundred more. Does anybody know why?

 

For very good reason.... They just moved their line of exhausts to stainless steel!

Same bad *** legendary Flowmaster sound, but in a durable material that will out-live most owners! LOL

Thanks Chris, that does help. Like I said, I just bought mine a few weeks ago, does that mean I caught a really good deal before the change in price?

 

The non-stainless steel Flowmasters are still a great product. I have them on my 07 GT and never looked back. It's just now the additional materials cost is going to drive up the value of the product. If you received the non-stainless at the old price, it was a good price for what you got.

Now if you go check yours out and they're stainless steel and you got them at the non-stainless pricing - you did GREAT!
