i probably would have gotten a few more runs in if we hadn't been delayed by a bunch of morons not following the rules and a few of the actual race cars breaking on track. it was nostalgia weekend so there were a lot of older cars there that just couldn't handle being tracked, a few people that were leaking at the line and ignored the red light and took off anyway, and a guy in a truck that was blowing straw out of his bed and dumping dirt out of his wheel wells the whole way down the track. after all of these people either left or got the boot, it was smooth sailing. and as an added bonus, my wife asked me when we are putting a power adder on the mustang!!

Wow these cars have a really weak top end. I'm surprised not only how slow they run, but only picking up 18mph from the 1/8 to the 1/4. Either that or bad air, bad night, bad track. I would expect the v6 to break into the 13's stock, so I'm really surprised since you're modded.

did you have traction issues, or is the track known to not run all that fast?

I'm actually pretty quick for a 2010 V6. You must be thinking of the 2011+ V6's. I'm only rated at 210 hp stock compared to the 2011 which is 305 an definitely running high 13's. I was faster than all of the N/A rice that was there at least. Lol. Next year I'll be running a shot of Nitrous and shooting for low 13's.

Looks like your traction could improve as well, you're still over 2 seconds in the 60 ft. times. Have you thought about some RLCAs and maybe subframe connectors?

i've definitely been looking into some lower control arms. i'm really leaning towards UPR suspension products and eibach drag launch springs. i really need to get an 8.8' rear and some slick tires too. right now im running on Cooper Zeon RS3-S. they stick pretty good considering last year i was racing on BFG all seasons.

I'm surprised at the trailblazer's time...I wouldn't have thought it was that fast. What mods do you have?

the trailblazers move for being an SUV. i have a T-Lok, 4.10's, Aluminum 3.5" driveshaft, BBK Cold air intake, and 93 R bama tune. next year im hoping to have a nitrous kit hooked up and possibly some suspension work done. it all depends on what my income tax check looks like.

Wow yeah just looked it up, 395hp stock is nothing to mess with, regardless of the weight. I'm sure with some mods he's pushing 450+, those truck engines get a lot of benefit from certain mods.

LS2s are no slouches. My fiancee got her butt kicked by one a few months back. I blame her poor shifting and the 87 octane fuel sipping tune in the car.

Chips and a tune with a lil exhaust work and most truck engines (miostly dodge and chevy) HAUL
My buddy has a hemi ram and i took him by a few car lengths first race. Couple weeks later after he had his chip installed along with full exhaust work and he promtply returned the butt-whoopin. Seems truck motors have alot of hidden power. Plus their tourqe numbers always help
