for your x pipe check out CJ pony parts, they have the Ford Racing x-pipe for $130 free shipping http://www.cjponyparts.com/FORD-RACI...2010/p/M5251R/
poweredbyford.com has one for less but I think you have to pay shipping.
some advice for the rear valance look around forums for gt guys upgrading to roush or gt500 diffusers. I'm getting mine for $50 this weekend.
Hope this helps.
Those x-pipes you are looking at are made for GT's with the 4.6 V8, may require some work to get it to hook up to the V6.

I didn't even think about that. I assumed that since Ford Racing sells the conversion kit that this would be the same x-pipe that comes with the kit. I'll call them tomorrow to see, I figured it said v8 because v6 don't have dual exhaust stock. Thanks for the heads up.

If the Ford Racing X-pipe isn't the right fit this is what i will have to go with. If the ford part is right i can get it locally for the same price and i figure ford would be slightly better quality. Hopefully its the right part I'm gonna call tomorrow to see. Are you happy with the pypes x-pipe?

Very, no Fitment problems and pretty easy to install.

Update: I've decided to make a move and get exhaust this week..

I like this exhaust setup and I'm getting it installed for free (Kind of).

here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGPb0...eature=related

I will admit that it's a little raspy on acceleration, but I still like it..

Opinions/Suggestions before I pull the trigger?

Wait. What else is required to fit the 2010? For $325 plus $115 for the GT500 rear valance this is a steal.

Plus shipping...

They will also sell the kit less the stock GT axle-back for less. Then you can use any GT axle-back kit fopr better sound and lighter weight.

Cool thanks for the help. For those that are interested the same set up can be found here; just a little bit cheaper.
http://www.bangastang.com/_e/Exhaust...xhaust_Kit.htm

And the GT500 rear diffuser here for $115 http://www.tousleyfordparts.com/

So pending the outcome of my second job interview on friday I should be spending about $1k this week -dual exhaust, rear diffuser, and Cobra steering wheel

Did you take a look at my thread on this? I did this conversion using the Pypes X-pipe and a stock GT LH (driver's side) pipe & clamp.

https://themustangsource.com/f801/20...nstall-488823/

It was very easy to do, and I get a lot of compliments on the sound.

I did and appreciate your post. I'm looking for more of a "kit" form. It just comes down to logistics and getting it done. I cannot work on my car here in NJ (apartment) and will need to have the parts shipped close to my uncle's farm in NY.- Cannot travel with a full exhaust in the car.

Like I said it's just logistics, I'm taking the easy route out and ordering the entire exhaust from place and then the rear valance from another.

I'm content with the stock GT exhaust. It's going on a 'vert so I don't want it to be too loud also I visit customers with the car so I again don't want it that noticeable.

Thanks
CJ

The way that Jason and myself did it requires 1 pipe to be bought, the valance and the clamp and hangers, it could still all be shipped to your uncles farm, Jason was trying to save you a buck or two.

The other advantage you get with the kit is all mandrel bent pipes which is not how the stock pipes are.

I currently have the 5.0 gt exhaust from midpipe back on my girls 3.7, if I were to change the mufflers would I have to get them for the gt and if so how would it sound? Thanks in advance.

If you have 2011 GT pipes you would need GT mufflers since the 2011 V6 mufflers use smaller pipes.
