So over the winter I installed kooks LTs and o/r x pipe.
I currently have on the roush a/b, which is what I was running when everything else was stock.
So far I've only been able to start the car in the garage and from what I can tell its sounds a little raspier than id like.
It may end up being way too loud as well. Although with the bama cam tune it sounds sick, so I really don't want to give up that part of it.

Im curious to hear what mufflers others are running with a similar setup as mine.

Since dyno's have shown that there is hardly any hp difference between X and H, why do so many with LT's use an X?
They are so raspy - esp at higher rpms. Sound like crap.

Why not use an H? Wouldn't that still give you the throaty sound from LT's? Without the rasp...

Stainless Works, exhaust from the H-pipe back. Soon to have SW Headers too with no cats. Going to sound insane. If i decide to keep it.

I know your looking for answers from the 5.0 people but I am running stock mufflers with my long tubes and high flow catted xpipe. Sounds pretty good from where I sit.

Honestly, I wanted to go with a h pipe but kooks doesn't offer one, not that I could find from american muscle anyways.
I don't suppose I can use any other brand with my kooks?

There is still some rasp in my opinion but not as bad as the X pipe

They stick out a little much. Something I've planned on fixing hen I get back home. I'm more worried about how it sounds though, to be honest.
