Here's the deal: I plan to purchase a sct x3 tuner in the next few weeks. I have read many reviews for the various tuners, and I have several in mind.

But, long term I plan to buy the pro racer software, and I want to keep the same tune as a base, rather than starting over with the SCT base map. The problem seems to be finding a shop that will support this plan.

So, if you have knowledge of tuners willing to support the pro racer software, please PM me with the information.

Contact VMP tunning. They sell and support the pro racer package with advantage 3. And sell flat rate etunes for your base. And advantage 3 should give you axcess to tons of maps and scaling strategys that other tuners and racers have used.

 

Thanks, I'll give VMP a call. I don't see the new livewire TS on their website yet, but they probably have it available. I am assuming that it is compatible with the racer pro package, but I haven't confirmed that yet.

 

Livewire ts on the way from vmp tuning. I confirmed they will update my tune files to work with the pro racer software when I get it. Probably next month...

What is the pro racer package??

 

Pro Racer allow more extreme data logging and full tuning parameters for your car. not much different than programs like HONDATA or AXCESSPORT. but for MUSTANGs.

 

Yeah I get the part where its for a Mustang.
