Tune Question

Hi guys,

About a week ago i installed a Steeda tune on my 2013GT. After all of the "you should be able to feel an immediate difference" comments I was anticipating a night and day difference. I was slightly let down. Now, a week later, the car feels like it has completely woken up. MUCH stronger throughout the power band. MUCH quicker throttle response. MUCH more aggressive. My question is....do cars take a little while to 'learn' how to respond to a tune? Sorry if this is a dumb question....I'm more curious than anything. LOVE the revitalized stang. Thanks Steeda. Amazing.

Hmmm ... that is interesting.

I have never heard of this, but I have sent a note to our lead tuner to see what may have factored into it.

I will let you know.

Best Regards,

TJ

I don't think it should take that long, but after I disconnected the battery for a few minutes there was a very noticeable difference for me.

It is possible that adaptive learning had to "learn" how much timing it could give him... also it could have been the gas at the first fill up ... the 2nd fill up may have been better.

We have several tuners, including Matt that does most of the tunes. He reports to James.

Let me know if I can help assist with anything further.

Best Regards,

TJ
