Supercharging, to bolt on or not?
I want a minimum of 600whp, my 5.0 is stock apart from a roush axle back. Should I just fit a procharger and no bolt ons, or bolt ons first and then procharger or just fit a procharger.

With that much power, I'd focus on getting it to the ground. If you're still using the 255 tires from the track pack and and don't have any type of control arm/ rear axle brace upgrade, then you'll most likely just spin the tires every time you try to floor it or go fast, so I'd either get wider tires or some sort of upgrade for wheel hop and stability. A Boss 302 Or Cobra Jet Intake manifold couldn't hurt either, but certainly isn't essential.

You can get to 600 without changing your stock manifold, but I think you will have to run the torque booster kit to hit 600.
As others have mentioned, wheels/tires will be needed. I'm pushing 600 with my vmp kit and my 295 invos have trouble getting traction up in the 40mph zone. I'm getting ready to buy drag radials to run out back during nice weather and switch over to invos when lots of rain is forecasted.
Suspension work is not needed since several are running low 10's with stock stock set up.

All valid points the guys above have mentioned.
More power = more problems = more money.
If money is no object,...then do it right and do it right the FIRST time. One and done.
Good luck.

I focussed on harnessing what the car came with first. UCA, LCAs and a sticky tire got me 11s on a mild tune.
Now I have a V3 blower waiting for summer to install and they'll probably chuck me off the track for busting the cage limit. I don't want 600, I want reliable, no scattered shortblock power so, I'll stick with Vortech tune for a good while, unless the driveability is ****.

Why are you limiting yourself to a ProCharger? many other options for SC'ing to get to 600.
On top of that, you need SUPPORTING mods, other than a blower. Sounds like you're looking for a quick answer. I suggest doing extensive research on "supercharging" our 5.0's. It will better arm you to make a decision versus relying on a quick answer from us.

when i was thinking of going to the dark side i did alot of research on what would suit my needs...
i wanted 600 rwhp as well , i decided to go with vortechs v-3 but knew the 47 lb injectors were not going to be enough in my opinion for a 93 tune in the long run.
so i dug deep and picked up a set of ID100's for the project and a VMP BAP.
for the tune i choose lund racing and did the remote way with data logging on my end bouncing back files with Jon lund II until he got it right , six files later....wow what a difference.
2 pulls on the dyno with a best of 596 rwhp and 483 tq. very happy with the end result.
i stuck with the stock headers but decided to ditch the cats so it would breathe better , went for a H-pipe from pipes and cat backs from flowmaster ( outlaw ).
very loud
this week a set of LCA's are going on , with the 305/35/20's MT street comps i have on the rear i hoping it will hook better. the drive shaft in my opinoin has to be swapped out as well for better transfer...all this car does is spin.
ive yet to replace the coolant resivior , i suggest doing it if the one supplied is plastic, after a run and the car cools down the connections shrink and mine leaks all the time....time for that upgrade too.
just a few of my own experiences, good luck...hope it all works out for you.
