Arrow Steeda Now Carries Vortech Superchargers for '11-12 5.0!

Steeda is now carrying Vortech supercharger systems for the 11-12 5.0! Let me know if I can help you with anything!

Vortech Mustang Black Supercharger System - $5,449.95

Vortech Mustang Polished Supercharger System - $5,449.95

Vortech Mustang Satin Supercharger System - $5,149.95

Check out our financing option: Steeda Preferred Financing

Vortech supercharger systems are a great value. Dollar for dollar, Vortech systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other method of upgrade. Also, driven normally, gas mileage often sees no adverse change.

Vortech's 2011-2012 Mustang 5.0 GT Supercharging Systems are available as either a complete, fully calibrated bolt-on, or as a tuner kit for custom installations at up to 1200HP.

This system is a complete system that includes everything required for installation including their V3 SI supercharger head unit, installation hardware, air to air intercooler, full engine calibration, and more, making it possible for the weekend do-it yourself installer to install and calibrate the system on their own.

The complete system will boost your stock 2011-2012 GT to 605 flywheel horsepower and 473 lb/ft of torque with 7.5-8.5 PSI of boost.

Product Benefits
  • Complete system includes all hardware and calibration
  • Can be installed by do it yourself enthusiasts
  • 605 horsepower - 473 ft/lbs of torque
  • Intercooled system for low air charge temps and maximum power

Why isn't this extended for the 13's? Hood? Intake? Or do I need to read one of those links?

Thanks.

It just fits the 2011-2012 as per Vortech. It may just be that they are still working on a calibration for the 2013.

do you have a custom Steeda tune for a stock Vortech kit to use instead of the Vortech tune? Car is an otherwise bone-stock Mustang GT 6 speed.

Replied to your PM but figured I would post here for others to see as wel. Unfortunately, at this time we are only offering these with the included Vortech calibration.

You should be able to get a custom remote tune for this from some other tuners though.

I stand corrected. Just double checked with Vortech and what it is is that they only have calibrations for the manual 2013s.

Also, check out our financing option: Steeda Preferred Financing

Wow that black finish one looks drool-worthy.

How would this be better than a roots type? The centrifugal vortechs offer more power in the upper rpms, but the roots type offers more power down low and immediately?

Centrifugal superchargers are more efficient, run cooler (and will take longer to heat soak), and weigh less compared to Roots-type systems with similar output. They make more power up top and one could argue the power is more usable because you don't have all of that extra power down low causing traction/wheel hop issues.

Here's an interesting article for you: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...em.php?gik=749

Let me know if I can help you with anything.

The stock Vortech tune has awful driveability with a cold-startup...have you tried it? Once warmed up it is fine. Also, the throttle tip-in is very lazy...You guys would do good to work with someone to work up a modified custome Vortech tune...you can can offer as an upgrade package...

We don't have any plans at this time for offering a remote tune for these Vortech kits. Of course we will offer a custom dyno tune at our Pompano Beach, FL location if one would like to have a Steeda tune with their Vortech kit.
